Hi! I'm André Fridman, a photographer and cinematographer based in São Paulo, Brazil. Despite growing up between my father's photography studio and my mother's workshop, I pursued a degree in Communication with a focus on Advertising at FAAP. Fortunately, fate led me into the audiovisual path—first during my internship at an advertising agency where I worked in the agency's production department, and later in college where my friends from the neighboring film course frequently invited me to collaborate on their short film projects, sparking my interest in storytelling through the cinematic lens.

After graduation, I worked as a photography assistant and creative assistant, collaborating with directors and photographers. Currently, I focus on still photography, developing my personal work and actively participating in advertising, editorial, and corporate projects. I also engage in cinematography, contributing to the creation of advertising films, fiction films, and music videos.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of exhibiting my work at the Museum of Image and Sound (MIS) and received nominations for awards, including Best Cinematography in Short Film at the ABC Awards (Brazilian Cinematography Association). Throughout my career, I've collaborated with clients such as Der Spiegel, Nike, Citibank, Getty, 99taxis, Honda, Enel, among others.
